MicroFish is a statistical software application used by fisheries professionals for generating fisheries abundance analytics. It generates population estimates and length/weight metrics.
MicroFish software has been used by fisheries biologists for 32 years. It is now being used in 60 countries. MicroFish was written by Jack Van Deventer to assist fisheries experts in their research.
MicroFish 3.0 (previously known as the MicroFish 3.0 Demonstration Version) is free of charge.
MicroFish 3.0 is most often used for analyzing fisheries data obtained via electrofishing.
MicroFish software is Windows-based and compatible with Windows 10.
There are no versions available for smartphones or for Apple products.
